There is a circus on the edge of our village. For years I've been driving past the place where the circus performs at irregular intervals. For At the End of the Road I took the time to get to know the circus family and their life in the ring and in everyday life. Long days of setting up and taking down the tent and their homes, prejudice and low attendance are just some of the things the family has to deal with. But there is also magic and a strong sense of togetherness that includes the animals.
